SANTA YNEZ VALLY HEALTHY EATING ACTIVE LIVING COALITION 

The Santa Ynez Valley Healthy Eating Active Living Coalition was established in 2018 to raise awareness about critical public health issues and mobilizes our community to establish local policies to break down barriers to improved health. SYV HEAL advocates for policies and practices that support a vision of a community where physical, social and economic conditions support the health and well-being of all residents, and health disparities no longer exist.

SYV – HEAL Cities Campaign is a partnership with the Cities of Solvang and Buellton, The County of Santa Barbara, The Santa Barbara County Association of Governments, local chambers of commerce, non profit organizations prioritizing healthy children and adults and many concerned individuals. All of these organizations and individuals are committed to advocating for the expansion of sound governmental planning practices and wellness, recreation and healthy eating programs in order to enhance the quality of life for all residents.
